1. What timers are available on this website?

We offer a variety of timers to suit your needs:

Each timer works independently, meaning they do not interfere with each other when used in separate tabs or pages.

2. How do I start a timer?

To start any of the timers, simply set your desired duration (for the custom timer) and click the Start button. The countdown will begin immediately, and you’ll see the remaining time displayed in a large, easy-to-read format.

3. What happens when the timer reaches zero?

When a timer reaches zero, it automatically stops and the background color will change to green, indicating that the timer has ended. No alerts or pop-ups will disturb you, ensuring a smooth experience. If the last 10 seconds are approaching, the background color will flicker between green and lime green, adding a visual cue to indicate the timer is about to finish.

4. Can I pause the timer and resume later?

Yes, absolutely! If you need to pause a timer, click the Pause button. When you’re ready to resume, simply click Resume, and the timer will continue from where it left off. The time elapsed during the pause is properly accounted for, so you won’t lose any time!

5. What happens if I leave the page while the timer is running?

If you leave the page while the timer is running, the timer will pause automatically. Upon returning, the timer will resume from exactly where it left off. This means you’ll never lose any progress, whether you’re switching tabs or closing the browser.

6. Will my timer remember where I left off?

Yes, all timers (5, 10, 30 minutes, and custom timers) save their state. If you close your browser or switch tabs, the timer will remember its state (whether it was running, paused, or finished) and will resume correctly when you return. This ensures continuity even if you leave the page.

7. Can I reset the timer?

Yes, you can reset any timer to its original value by clicking the Reset button. This will stop the timer, reset the remaining time to the starting point, and reset the background color. For custom timers, you can reset it to the value you initially set, while the 5, 10, and 30-minute timers will reset to their default durations.

8. How does the custom timer work?

The Custom Timer allows you to set your own duration in hours, minutes, and seconds. After entering your desired time, simply press Start to begin the countdown. This timer works independently like the others, meaning it will pause when you leave the page and resume properly when you return.

9. Are the timers synchronized across tabs?

No, each timer operates independently in each tab. If you start the 5-minute timer in one tab and the 10-minute timer in another, each timer will have its own state. This ensures you can manage multiple timers at once without them affecting each other.

10. Why does the background flicker towards the end of the timer?

The last 10 seconds of the timer have a special flicker effect for added emphasis. The background color will alternate between green and lime green to visually highlight the countdown to zero. This makes it easier to notice that your time is almost up.

11. How accurate are the timers?

The timers are highly accurate, and the time tracking is handled with precision. The timers will correctly account for time elapsed even if the page is refreshed, paused, or if the user leaves the page and returns later.

14. What happens if I want to change the time on the custom timer after starting it?

Once a timer has started, the custom timer’s time cannot be adjusted. If you need to change the time, you must reset the timer and set a new duration before starting it again.

15. When I open the page, i see the timer already running?

The timer is running because you had started it previously and did not return back. Simply click “Reset” for a fresh countdown

16. When I open the page, I see the timer at 00:00 and the screen color Green?

This happens if you had started the timer previously and returned back after it was over. For a fresh Countdown, simply click “Reset”

17. Refreshing the page is not making the timer start again?

This is because how our timers are programmed to work. Please click on “Reset” for a new countdown.
